NBA Offseason

This offseason there is much speculation on what Dwight Howard will do with the Orlando Magic. He is going to be the headline all offseason just like he was all regular season.

I look for the Nuggets to pick up a big named player to lead that young team further in the playoffs. I think the Nuggets will surprise everybody next season and be back in the Western Conference finals if not THE finals. I probably am biased to Denver having have been a fan but I really think that added pressure that the Denver Broncos are succesful will push the Nuggets to get a big named player either in the draft or through trade.

Go Nuggets!

LeBron v. Durant

I was pondering the thought of Kevin Durant hitting the game winning shot in game 7 vs. Miami in the NBA finals. If and when K.D. wins a championship how can anyone say he is not better than LeBron. LeBron has won 3 MVP's in a row but K.D. has won the scoring title 4 years running and has one a defensive player of the year awards. If K.D. played for anyother team he would have won one or two of those MVP awards LeBron so clingfully holds on too. If K.D. wins a championship before LeBron expect many people to declare he is better. I agree, LeBron James will not get substantially better unlike K.D.

San Antonio Spurs

SAN ANTONIO SPURS

Being the hottest team in the league winning 18 games in a row, dating back to the regular season, it looks like everyone is jumping on the Spurs bandwagon. I am not. I think Oklahoma is one of many teams that are capable of beating and ultimately sweeping the Spurs. They have had to have played the worst 2 teams in the 1st two rounds being Utah and the Clippers. Some of the teams that would have beaten the Spurs are the Lakers, Nuggets, and the Mavericks. They will lose in 5 games if not 4 this won't even be a close series and many will act surprised but how could anybody not expect it. OKC has Kevin freaking Durant.

Oklahoma City Thunder

OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER

The OKC Thunder are plowing through have beating the defending NBA champs, the Mavericks, and beating one of the favorites, the Lakers in the first and second rounds of these NBA playoffs. Kevin Durant is as clutch as it gets hitting game winning shots against the Lakers in game 4 to go up 3-1 in the series and ultimately giving OKC the momentum they needed to close out the 4-game series yesterday. I look to see OKC in the final vs. whoever happens to claw themselves out of the east. I strongly think that OKC will get through San Antonio and past the finals to win the championship.
